Henry Edward Holt

Henry Edward Holt Sr. was born July 3, 1959 in Savannah, TN the son of the late Wayne and Lorene Brown Holt. Mr. Holt died in an automobile accident in Fayetteville, TN Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the age of 54 Years, 1 Month, 28 Days. He was a production worker at American Food Service, however, he worked at a sawmill most of his life. Henry was a free spirit.

He is survived by two sons, Henry Edward Holt Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Waynesboro, TN and Gavin Dewayne Holt of Savannah, TN; two daughters, Monica Holt Gooding and husband Jeff of Fayetteville, TN and April Stricklin of Savannah, TN, 8 grandchildren, Nicole, Dustin, Laura, Chelsey, Destany, Dameian, Deanna, and Devin, and 3 great-grandchildren, Gunner, Presley, and Paisley, fiance, Wendy Wallace, two brothers, David Holt and Jamie Lee Holt both of Savannah, TN, a sister, Janette Qualls and husband Donnie of Savannah, TN. Also he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Hudson Holt, a son, Timothy Holt, two brothers, Rollie Holt and Charles Holt.

Services will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Prater's Chapel Cemetery near Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is at the funeral home on Saturday, September 7th, from 12:00 Noon until 7:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM unitl service time.
