Helen Allene Thomas

She was born in Chester County, the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Newman Johnson. She attended school in the Harmony Community of Chester County. She was married to James Thomas on January 5, 1946. They had celebrated their sixtieth anniversary. Mrs. Thomas was a life long member of the Estes Church of Christ.



She is survived by her husband James Thomas; a daughter Judy Carolyn Thomas; two sons Gary Thomas and wife Linda and Tony Thomas and wife Mary all of Henderson; seven grandchildren Tracey Christensen of Cordova, Gina Thomas and Connie Carson both of Henderson, Lori Qualls of Dancyville, Alison Thomas and Lisa Thomas both of Henderson and Sara Thomas of Bethel Springs; two great grandchildren Cameron Christensen and Lauren; two sisters Jo Naylor of Costa Mesa, CA. and Betty Hutcherson of Finger, TN.



She was preceded in death by a brother Manley Johnson in 1973.



Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, from the Chapel of Leon Johnson Funeral Home with Hoyt Kirk and Billy Smith Officiating and burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
