Helen Pennington

HELEN PENNINGTON



was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 3, 1934 the daughter of the late Clarence and May Bell McDaniels Brannon.



She was united in marriage to Charles Pennington, who preceded his wife in death on April 4, 2000.



Mrs. Pennington was an inspector for Tee Jays for 15 years. She enjoyed music, Elvis and old country classics. Mrs. Pennington also enjoyed movies, quilting and being at home with her family. She lived in Lauderdale County all of her life.



Mrs. Pennington departed this life on July 15, 2009 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 12 days.



She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Tomlin and her husband Scott of Florence, Alabama



3 sons, Richard and Jennifer Pennington of Waterloo, Alabama, David Pennington of Florence, Alabama and Donald and Heather Pennington of Florence, Alabama.



8 grandchildren, Shannon Rainey and his wife Sadonna, Jeffery Rainey and his wife Jessica, Kristy Pennington, Wendy Holland, Justin Pennington, Bethany Pennington, Haley Pennington and Jessica Jenkins



her great-grandchildren, Hayden Rainey, Jordan Holland, Little Richard Pennington, Sadie Pruit and Austin Stults



4 sisters, Lois Sweeney and Winnie Cummings, both of Florence, Alabama, Hazel Lambert of Savannah, Tennessee and Kathy Hollis of St. Joseph, Tennessee



Mrs. Pennington was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Mindy Pennington,4 brothers, James, Larry, Wilbur Lee and R. C. Brannon and one sister, Gladys Brannon.
