Mrs. Patterson died Saturday night at Methodist-Fayette Hospital in Somerville.
A life-long resident of Hardeman County, she was the daughter of the late George Frank and Lela Galloway Pruette. On November 1, 1951, she married Billy Ray Patterson. They were married for over 46 years until his death on February 19, 2008. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Saulsbury Baptist Church and worked with her husband on the farm and as a homemaker.
She leaves two daughters, Helen Ilene Russell of Saulsbury and Geneva Ann Mynatt of Toone; a sister, Josephine West of Birmingham, Alabama; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
