Helen J. Jones, 84, of Middleton, died Monday, May 29, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of Hubert Jones, who died January 31, 1998, she was a teacher at Middleton High School for 49 years. Mrs. Jones was born August 22, 1921 in Middleton, daughter of the late Luther Burton Jones and Annie Vaughan Jones and lived here all of her life. She was a member of the Hardeman County Educators Association, the Tennessee Educators Association and the National Educators Association as well as Reaves Methodist Church.
Services were 10 am Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Ruble Shelly officiating. Burial was in Reaves Cemetery near Middleton.
She leaves one cousin, Olive Moore of McKenzie.
