Helen Franks

Helen (Nanny) King Franks was born March 1, 1941 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of Mary Hazel Martin Harris and the late Walter M. King. She was a former member of Lakeview Baptist and the Sanctuary Crew; attended Second Baptist Church; loved Southern gospel singings and writing gospel songs; she devoted her life to her children, family and anyone in need.Mrs. Franks departed this life on November 23, 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 8 Months, 22 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Baird and husband Riley of Selmer, TN; a son, Roger Franks and wife Dawn of Tupelo, MS; mother, Mary Hazel Harris of Chickamauga, GA; a sister, Erica Jane Elliott of Chickamauga, GA; two grandchildren, Steven Dale Franks and Christopher Wayne Franks both of Tupelo, MS; nephew, Wayne Crow of Bethel Springs, TN; nieces, Wanda Prince, Betty Graham, Leslie Brown all of Bethel Springs, TN, Teresa Robinson and Sarah Cupac both of Jacksonville, FL.In addition to her father, Mrs Franks was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Ferguson.
