Helen Marie Cooke, 77, of Savage, Miss., died Monday, July 11, 2005 at Trinity Missions of Great Oaks in Byhalia, Miss.
The wife of the late Hugh Littleton Cooke, who died in 1980, she was a homemaker and retired from 30 years at Tunica Manufacturing. A native of Hardeman County she lived in Savage, Miss. for 20 years.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 15, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Oscar Geeslin officiating. Burial was in Melrose Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Watson of Sledge, Miss., and Jo Ann Cook of Alligator, Miss.; three sons, Charles Cooke of Byhalia, Miss., James Cooke of Key West, FL, and Larry Cooke of Memphis; two sisters, Louise Hammons of Bolivar and Merline Woods of Byhalia, MS.; two brothers, George T. Webb, Jr. of Memphis, and Bernard Webb of Savannah; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Joe Cooke and brother, Ruble Webb.
