Hazel Staggs Meisenheime

Hazel Olene Haddock Staggs Meisenheimer of Waynesboro, TN was born June 29, 1921 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late Willie and Bertha Davis Haddock. She was united in marriage to Russell Staggs and Maurice Meisenheimer and both preceded her in death.
Mrs. Meisenheimer was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Meisenheimer departed this life on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 11 Months, 7 Days.
She is survived by five sons, Russell Staggs Jr., Harry Glen Staggs, and Johnny Staggs all of Granite City, IL, Charles Staggs of Utica, NY, Wayne Staggs of Alton, IL; four daughters, Geneva Pence and Sharon Risinger both of Granite City, IL, Wanda Bucklew of Troy, IL, Patricia Gibson of Iron City, TN; 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Haddock of Waynesboro, TN; three sisters, Mary Ella Franklin of Lawrenceburg, TN, Robbie Blanton of Kingsman, AZ, Faye King of Montevallo, AL; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husbands, Mrs Meisenheimer was preceded in death by two brothers, W. H. Haddock, Bobby Haddock; two sisters, Helen Staggs, Oneta Riley.
Services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Burial will be in the Sunset Hills Cemetery at Edwardsville, Illinois.
