Hazel Hobbs

Mrs. Hazel Mae Hobbs departed this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 6 Months, 13 Days. She was born February 15, 1936 in Bath Springs, TN the daughter of the late Jessie and Myrtle Yarboro Brawley.

She was united in marriage to Tom Frank Hobbs who preceded her in death on November 22, 1983.

Mrs. Hobbs was retired from Clifton Manufacturing as a seamtress. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church,Clifton.

She is survived by daughters, Katherine Dianne Pitts of Waynesboro, TN;Frankie Pulley of Waynesboro, TN; granddaughter that she raised as her own, Kristy Michelle Rich and husband Kenny of Cypress Inn, TN; son in law, Joe Griggs, Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, John Hobbs, Jacob Pulley, Eli Pulley, Steven Pulley, Misty Kriner, Amy Green, Desirea Todd, Demetra Daily and Thomas Todd, 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hobbs was preceded in death by grandparents that raised her, Elmer and Annie Brawley, daughters, Jaunita Hobbs, Jennifer Griggs; son, Tommy Hobbs; sisters, Ruby Noel, Katherine Stevens, Irene Brassfield and a brother, William Brawley.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Billy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 31, 5:00 pm and on Saturday, September 1, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford's Waynesboro
