Hazel Martin Davis, 93, of Middleton, died Saturday morning, June 30, 2007 at her home.
She was born October 22, 1913 in DeSoto County, Mississippi, to Edwin and Ollie Douglas Martin. She lived in Memphis for many years and had been in Middleton since 1990. A member of the Middleton First Baptist Church, she was the widow of Henry Berton Davis, who died in 1970. Mr. and Mrs. Davis were the founders of Harbor House in Memphis. She had worked for J. R. Watkins in Memphis for 32 years and also at Serenity House for Women for 12 years.
Her survivors include her daughter, Patricia Perry and her husband, Eugene of Middleton; a sister, Ruth Jackson Anderson of Forrest City, AR; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
