Hazel Davis

HAZEL HAGGARD DAVISwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 15, 1915 the daughter of the late Otis Orville and Zelma Alice Garrard Haggard.On August 22, 1931 she was united in marriage to Wallace Davis, who preceded his wife in death on July 1, 1993.Mrs. Davis was a machine operator for Savannah Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the former Savannah Foursquare Church. Mrs. Davis loved gardening, going to church and reading her Bible. She departed this life on July 24, 2010 at the Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 9 days.Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter in law, Freeda Davis of Savannah, Tennesseeher granddaughter, Debbie Dockery and her husband David of Savannah, Tennesseeone great grandson, Dalton Dockery of Savannah, Tennesseeone sister, Lela Griffin of Savannah, Tennessee and 2 brothers, Earl and Byrl Haggard, both of Savannah, TennesseeIn addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Guymon Davis, 2 brothers, Sam and Herbert Haggard and one half brother, Barney K. Haggard.
