Hazel Dean Cornelius

Services for Hazel Dean Cornelius, age 85, of Hohenwald, TN, will be Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will be in North Highland Cemetery, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2007 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.



She died at Lewis County Manor in Hohenwald, TN on Monday, October 29, 2007.



Mrs. Cornelius, a native of Wayne County, TN was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Lula (Ludie) Whitehead Aldridge and her husband, Harvey Ishmal Cornelius.



Survivors, daughters, H. Lynette (Ron) Brown, Orlando, FL, Judith Cornelius, Hohenwald, TN; grandson, James Lee (Deb) Brown, Millville, NJ; great-granddaughter, Heather Brown; sisters, Katherine Risner and Virginia Harper, Waynesboro, TN, nieces and nephews.



She was always loving, gentle, and kind and was an expert seamstress and did sewing for several country music entertainers.
