Mrs. Stewart passed away Friday evening at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Glenn Woodson Stewart, who died May 23, 2007 after 65 years of marriage, she was a psychiatric technician at Western Mental Health Institute. Mrs. Stewart was born in Middleton to the late William Leslie McBride and Lizzie Ola Stewart McBride and lived most of her life in Bolivar and 14 years in Memphis. She was a member of Bolivar Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Linda Capshaw and Terry of Middleton; three sisters, Juanita Garland of Lincolnton, NC, Naomi Berryman of Chalybeate, MS and Pat Brumbelow of Ramer; two brothers, Jimmy McBride of Selmer and Gerald McBride of Somertown; three grandchildren, Teresa Howell of Hickory Valley, Brian Capshaw of Selmer and Jennifer Capshaw Herriman of Auburn, MA; and four great grandchildren, Cadence Howell, Easton Howell, Abigail Capshaw and Hadassah Capshaw. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Glen Stewart.
