Hattie Evelyn Killingsworth Enlow was born in Stantonville, Tennessee to Henry and Jessie Killingsworth on May 24, 1931.  Evelyn left for her heavenly home on October 6, 2023 at the young age of 92 after a brief illness.

Evelyn lived a full life and is most known for her spectacular cooking abilities.  She used her talents to the fullest working 50+ years in the food service industry.  She retired with years of service at the Pickwick Inn making homemade biscuits, eggs and peach cobblers by the dozens. She was proud of her talents and always delighted in making dishes for friends and family. She was most known for her made from scratch coconut cakes and pecan pies having made hundreds for friends and family throughout the years. Evelyn enjoyed her game shows, puzzles and was always up for a trip. She also enjoyed music especially listening to the Killingsworth boys play and her daughters’ sing.  She loved and cared for her friends and family well always having compassion for others.  Her love for others was ever so apparent as friends and caregivers expressed their love for her in return.  

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Clara McCullar and husband, Sam of Selmer, TN and Belinda Christopher and husband, Jerry of Adamsville, TN.  She is also survived by six grandchildren; Maury Mulder (Stacy) of Selmer, TN, Christy McMahan (Van) of Selmer, TN, Syd Mulder (Mandi) of Brentwood, TN, Brandie Massaglia of Mt. Juliet, TN, Leslie Christopher of Jackson, TN, and Eve Moore (Chad) of Lake Tahoe, CA.  Also surviving are ten great-grandchildren; Jake and Luke Mulder, Peyton (Shelby), Grant (Kensley) and Grace McMahan, Mia and Gib Mulder, Carrigan (Matt) Pickering, Lillie and Anna Moore and one precious great-great grandchild, Carleigh Chambers as well as a bonus great-great grandchild Emma Grace Pickering. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves beloved nieces and nephews; David Killingsworth, Sherrie Pittman, Steven Killingsworth, Terry Tedford and Phyllis Meek.

Ms. Enlow was preceded in death by her husband Herman Enlow, and parents, Henry and Jessie Killingsworth, brother, Thomas Killingsworth and wife, Louise, and sister, Loraine Tedford and husband, Leonard.
