Harvey Franklin Powell, 66, of Silerton, died Sunday evening, March 19, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was a production worker and fork lift driver. Mr. Powell was born February 12, 1940 in Hayti, Missouri, son of the late Harvey and Sadie Catherine Vales Powell. He lived for many years in Benton Harbor, Mich. and Columbia, Missouri before returning here just over two weeks ago. He served in the U.S. Marines.
Graveside services were 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Ebenezer Cemetery near Toone. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one sister, Billie Jean Shearon of Middleton; one brother, Alfred Stack of Silerton and three daughters, JaRhonda Powell of Columbia, Missouri, Dana Powell and Cricket Powell.
