Harrison Adell Treece

Harrison Adell Treece of Selmer, TN departed this life on September 3, 2016 in his home at the age of 87 Years, 10 Months, 5 Days. He was born October 29, 1928 in the Morton Community of McNairy County, the son of the late Sherman and Ethel Tacker Treece. He was united in marriage to Myrna Brewer on December 31, 1951.

Mr. Treece was retired Assistant Terminal Manager for Miller Transporters. He previously worked for the family Treece Brother's Cotton Gin. He had lived formerly in Memphis and Middleton, TN. Mr. Treece attended Better Hope Primitive Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the Adamsville Jaycees, and the Southaven, MS Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Myrna Treece of Selmer, TN; a son, Greg Treece and wife Gale of Selmer, TN; three daughters, Pam Treece Bassett of Bay St. Louis , MS, Kathy Treece Emery of Memphis, TN, Kim Treece Robertson of Como, MS; four grandchildren, Al Robertson, Matthew Collier, Sarah Treece, Todd Treece; a grt-grandchild, Cash Robertson; a sister, Rachel Moore of Adamsville, TN, a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Treece was preceded in death by a grandchild, Adam Robertson; a sister, Ervie Bias; a brother, Clyde Treece.
