HARRIAL DAVIS

Jackson, TN: Mr. Harrial Glen Davis, age 79, passed away July 13, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in McNairy County, TN October 4, 1943, son of the late Herman Odell and Lillian Moore Davis. He grew up and attended school in Hickory Corner.

He worked for Bemis Cotton Mill for 26 years and then began working for the Tennessee Department of Transportation working in road construction in Madison County until retirement.

He married Margaret Holt January 10, 1974, and they made their home in Jackson. They have been married 47 years.

Mr. Davis enjoyed hunting and raising horses.

He loved his family and will be dearly missed by them and his many friends.

He was a member of South Jackson Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Davis; two sons, Michael Shane Barnett (Kristin) of Brighton, TN and Roy Darrell Elder (Susie) of Jackson, TN; daughter, Deborah Garner or Jackson, TN; brother, Larry Davis of Henderson, TN; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenneth Davis and Mike Davis.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday July 17, 2023, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Ray Pack officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue on Monday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM service time.
