Harold Oatley Warner

Mr. Harold Oatley Warner, Sr., age 88 of Oakland, passed from this life Saturday, November 29, 2008 in Memphis.He was born February 15, 1920 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Oatley Warner in Michigan. He married Muriel Jacobson, who survives, December 15, 1940. He worked as a chemical engineer for Reichhold Chemicals, was a Mason and was of the Methodist faith. He has lived in the West Tennessee area since 1968.In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Linda Warner of Somerville, Joann Telfer of Germantown, Connie Dunn of Los Angeles, CA, and Peggy Matthews of Rosemark; a son, Sid Warner of Henderson; fifteen grandchildren, Kendra Choy, Marla and Steve Woodruff, Christine and Tommy Dunn, Lisa Courntey, Ben and Katie Matthews, Joshua, Benjamin and Larkin Warner, Sid Warner, III, Jessica Swindell, Nicholas and Hunter Pittman, and fourteen great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Harold Oatley Warner, Jr.
