Harold William. Paul

Harold William Paul of Waynesboro, TN was born February 9, 1929 in Toronto, Canada, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul. He was united in marriage to Mary Linda Zink in 1957.

Mr. Paul was a retired long distance truck driver delivering automobiles and fire trucks. He served in the Canadian Military. As an American citizen, Mr. Paul was a devoted husband of 57 years and enjoyed camping, canoeing , cooking, woodworking, tin working and extensive travel. He was a lover of nature and the outdoors and had a good sense of humor and always sported a great smile.

Mr. Paul departed this life on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 7 Months, 23 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Linda Zink Paul of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Edward Paul of Buffalo, NY, James Paul and wife, Lenore of Lansing, MI, Louis Paul and wife, Dolores of Dewitt, MI, John Paul and wife, Jean of Winter Haven, FL; a daughter, Linda Morrin and husband, Alan of La Vergne, TN; nine grandchildren; one step-grandchild; seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Father Kevin Dowling officiating. Following the services, his body will be cremated.

Visitation will be one hour before the services on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the funeral home.
