Harold Roy Huggins

Harold Roy Huggins, Sr. was born August 2, 1926 in Corinth, MS the son of the late John Franklin and Bessie Jones Huggins.
He was united in marriage to Madge Charlene Stanfield on October 28, 1950.
Mr. Huggins retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of faithful and honorable service, he had reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. In his civilian life, he was a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and traveling across the states and abroad with his wife, Madge.
Mr. Huggins departed this life on January 19, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 5 Months, 17 Days. He is survived by his wife Madge Charlene Huggins of Millington, TN; a daughter, Teresa Morris and husband Bubba of Drew, MS; two sons, Harold Roy Huggins Jr. and wife Mary of Savannah, TN, Ricky Huggins and wife Betty of Millington, TN; a sister, Polly Roberts of Orlando, FL; 6 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Huggins was preceded in death by a grandson, Jamie Humphreys; four brothers, Howard Lee Huggins, R.C. Huggins, Billie Jean Huggins, and Billy Vernon Huggins.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
