Harold H. Graves, age 83 of Grand Junction, passed from this life Friday morning, January 16, 2009 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.He was born January 17, 2009 to the late Bazzie and Lillie Smith Graves in Hickory Valley. He served his country during World War II in Europe, where he was wounded July 11, 1944 and received a Purple Heart. He married Wilma Mae Black, who survives, August 16, 1947 and worked for Dover Elevator as a maintenance supervisor for twenty years before retiring. He was a Mason and was a member and deacon at the Grand Junction First Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Brenda Winston Elson of Halls; a son, Duane A. Graves of Maryville; a sister, Addie Fiveash of Marianna, GA; four grandchildren, Andrea Graves Grisanti, Rachel Tinker, Kelley Winston and Nicholas Winston; and a great-grandchild, Allen Tinker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Fiveash.
