Harlen Ray Daniel

Harlen Ray Daniel was born June 18, 1938 in Collinwood, TN the son of the late Marven and Gertie Berry Daniel. He was united in marriage to Virginia Corene Holt on May 4, 1957 and she preceded him in death on July 14, 2020. Mr. Daniel was member of the Millrock Freewill Baptist Church and was the former owner of Daniel & Son Logging. He departed this life on October 26, 2022 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 84 years, 4 months, and 8 days.

He is survived by a daughter, Debra Holt; a son, Dennis Ray Daniel and wife Linda, a sister, Glenda Thompson, all of Collinwood, TN; three grandchildren, Keith Daniel of Knoxville, TN, Christopher Daniel, Brandon Holt and wife Kristie; and three great grandchildren, Hunter Caperton, Jayden Daniel, Carson Holt, all of Collinwood, TN.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Faye Daniel and J.R. Daniel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Collinwood, TN.

Pallbearers: Jayden Daniel, Chris Daniel, Nathan Daniel, Brandon Holt, Brian Thompson, and Jerry Holt.
