Haggard Murphy

Haggard Murphy was born February 15, 1923 in Waynesboro, Tennessee the son of the late Albert and Eddy Murphy.On May 21, 1970 he was united in marriage to Lina Bell Moser, who survives.Mr. Murphy worked as a lumber stacker at the sawmill in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Waynesboro,Tennessee.Mr. Murphy departed this life on May 29, 2008 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 3 Months, 14 Days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Murphy is survived by two daughters, Debra Roberts of Savannah, TN, Kathy Milholen of Scotts Hill, TN; two sisters, Jeannie Smith of Savannah, TN, Lillie Melson of Waynesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by five brothers, Sebe Murphy, Henry Murphy, Lewis Murphy, J.T. Murphy, James Willard; a grandchild, Jimmy Dale Milholen.
