Hadie C. Barkley

Mrs. Barkley died Sunday, April 27 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
The daughter of late Simon and Ida Bailey Moore, she was born June 16, 1925 in Tiplersville, MS. Mrs. Barkley was a homemaker and widow of Lee Allen Barkley, Sr., who died in September, 1971.
She is survived by two sons, Nat C. Barkley and his wife, Alice of Memphis and Lee Allen Barkley and his wife, Sandra of Lakeland; two brothers, Henry Moore and his wife, Helen of Bolivar and Rubel Moore and his wife Bobbie of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Janet Sewell and William A. and Gregory C. Barkley; seven great-grandchildren, Bobby Lee, Natalie, Jana, Noah and Hannah Barkley and Austin and Taylor Sewell; two great-great-grandchildren, Callie Beth and Chance Barkley; two step grandchildren, Joy Passman and Connie Gillespie; four step great-grandchildren, Patrick Gillespie, Valerie Weaver and Samanth and Nicholas Passman; one step great-great-grandchild, Cadence Weaver.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Archie Barkley on November 17, 2006.
