Gwenda Lee Newman

Gwenda Lee Newman was born in Savannah, Tennessee on March 13, 1945 to the late Richard and Jewel Newman. She departed this life on December 12, 2024 at the home of her daughter in Bolivar, Tennessee, at the age of 79 years, 8 months, and 29 days.

Gwenda was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She loved the Lord and found great comfort in the pets she cared for.

She is survived by 3 children, her daughter Janet Nock and her husband Brian of Franklin, Tennessee, her son Richard Stewart and his wife Twania of Decaturville, Tennessee, and her daughter Cindy Jeter and her husband Charles of Bolivar, Tennessee.

She also leaves behind a sister Ann Humphrey of Savannah, Tennessee, and a brother, Don Newman and his wife Agnes, also from Savannah, Tennessee.

She leaves behind 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 4 brothers, daughter Tabitha Neill, and granddaughter Skylar Nock.
