GUY SHERWOOD DELANEY
Was born in Henderson County, Tennessee on December 8, 1918 the son of the late Felix Albert and Emma Kelley Delaney.
On November 21, 1940 he was united in marriage to the former Bonnie Love, who survives.
Mr. Delaney was a farmer and carpenter. He was an United States Marines veteran of World War II. Mr. Delaney was a member of Woodmen of the World for many years.
He departed this life on September 14, 2005 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 6 days.
Other than his wife, Bonnie of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Judy Freeman and her husband Fred of Jackson, Tennessee.
One son, Tommy Delaney and his wife Billie Jean of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.
4 grandchildren, Pam Rhinehart Meek, Wesley Freeman and his wife Susanne, Mandy Delaney Webb and her husband Bobby and Josh Delaney.
6 great-grandchildren, Clint, Shelby and Rachel Meek, Harrison Freeman, Bailey and Delaney Webb.
One sister, Lois Smith of Jackson, Tennessee.
2 brothers, Cecil and Robert Neal Delaney, both of Jackson, Tennessee.
Mr. Delaney was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jo Ann Rhinehart, 2 sisters, Edna Cloyd and Clara Beasley and 4 brothers, Omar, Delmar, Max L. and Harold Delaney.
