Mrs. Rinks went home to be with her Lord on June 30, 2007 in her home in Henderson, TN after a long illness. She was born on May 17, 1920, in Luray, TN to the late Jasper and Bertha Mae Smith. She lived most of her life in Jackson, TN. She loved everyone. She loved her church family just as if they were her own. She loved all her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Russell Rinks of Jackson; a daughter Shelby Jean Lundy of Jackson; a brother Pete Smith of Iowa and a sister Anna Lee Scott of Lexington.
She leaves behind five wonderful sons: John William Lundy, Danny Gail Rinks, and Joel Lee Rinks all of Henderson, Roger Dale Tweedy, Sr. and wife Brenda of Jackson, and Jimmy Lynn Rinks and wife Gina of Pinson. She also leaves behind two beautiful daughters; Carolyn Joyce Butler and husband Randy of Henderson and Debra Ruth Taylor and husband Travis of Jackson.
She also has two surviving brothers; Hobert Smith of Jackson and William Smith of Beech Bluff, TN.
She has four grandsons; Jimmy King, Roger Tweedy, Jr. and Justion Yance all of Jackson and Josuha Lee Bear Rinks of Las Vegas and she leaves behind eight granddaughters: Brandy Smith and Teresa Gail Blurton both of Henderson, Tonya Borchert, Stephanie Morris, Crystal Banks, Alicia Rinks, April Tweedy, and Elizabeth Rinks all of Jackson.
She also has six great grandsons and twelve great granddaughters.
