GRANVILLE LEON GRAYwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 21, 1932 the son of the late Thomas Alvin and Lettie Davis Gray.On June 24, 1955 he was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Johnson, who preceded her husband in death on May 21, 1994.Mr. Gray was millwright for Tennessee River Pulp and Paper and he also worked for Emmett Yeiser Chevrolet as a mechanic. He was a United States Navy Veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Gray was a member of Campground United Methodist Church. He was a master craftsman at woodworking and metal working. Mr. Gray enjoyed fishing, traveling and listening to bluegrass music.He departed this life on May 5, 2008 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 14 days.Mr. Gray is survived by on daughter, Carole Morton of Savannah, Tennessee and 2 sons, Jerry Gray of Arab, Alabama and Mark Gray of Meridianville, Alabama.5 grandchildren, Jaithen Jones, Jarod Gray, Brandon Gray, Kyle Morton and David Morton.2 brothers, Jimmy Gray and Harold Gray, both of Savannah, TennesseeHe is also survived by a dear friend, Betty Moser of Savannah, Tennessee
