Grady Wade Roten

Grady Wade Roten departed this life on October 4, 2016 in Jackson, TN at the age of 90 Years, 3 Months, 6 Days. He was born June 28, 1926 in Rose Creek, TN the son of the late Hubert Bruce Roten and Belva Simpson Roten.

Mr. Roten was retired from Aqua Glass Corp. in Adamsville, TN. He previously had worked for Pickwick Electric Cooperative and the Tennessee Valley Authority. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a Baptist. Mr. Roten was a 32nd Degree Mason, a York Rite, and a Order Of the Eastern Star.

He is survived by a son, Steve Roten of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Rebecca Phillips of Glen, MS; three grandchildren, Simmie Phillips, Sandy Murray, Hadley Roten; a great grandchild, Jaycee Murray; two sisters, Johnnie Ray of Selmer, TN, Florence Page of Selmer, TN; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Roten was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Bruce Roten.
