Grady Cobern Highland was born on September 13, 1937 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Amie Cobern and Lillie Mae English Highland.
On October 1, 1955 he was united in marriage to Rosa White Highland, who preceded her husband in death on June 9, 2000.
Mr. Highland was a member of the Tennessee National Guard and worked as a mechanic.
He departed this life on September 9, 2005 at St. Joseph Health Care in St. Charles, Missouri at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 27 days.
Mr. Highland is survived by
2 daughters: Brenda Diete of St. Peters, Missouri and Anna Buehrle and her husband, Phil of St. Charles, Missouri;
5 grandchildren: Renee Davis, Nikki Diete, Leigh Davis, Coby Davis and Heather Buehrle;
3 great-grandchildren: Brandon, Travis and Michael
and 4 sisters: Esther Lee, Wilma, Frankie, Nell and their surviving spouses.
