Grace T. Young, 97, of Bolivar, died Friday morning, February 23, 2007 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Tillman Gibson and Ted Young, she was a homemaker and had worked at Bemis Cotton Mill for 9 years and 4 years at Western Mental Health Institute. Mrs. Young was born August 26, 1909 in the Teague Community, daughter of the late Walter Lee Tims and Bertha Scarbrough Tims and lived in Hardeman County all of her life. She was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church and the Golden Sounds Choir.
Survivors include one brother, Parnell J. Tims of Pinson; two nephews, Mike and Philip Tims; two nieces, Gwen Lindley and Debra Nash; a great niece and great nephew and several stepchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lacy Tims.
