Grace Hunt Frank departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 23 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 7, 1936, the daughter of the late Robert Wiley and Mary Ruth Austin Hunt.
Grace had been a waitress and cook at Cherry's Truck Stop. She had also worked for Savannah Truck Stop, Yellow Creek, and had been self-employed with her own escort service. Grace was the kindest and most generous person. She was accepting of people and opened her home to so many. She always made room if you needed a place to stay. She loved her children and grandchildren the most and was always laughing at their antics.
She was a member of the East End United Methodist Church, but also attended Eureka United Methodist Church. She was very active in the church, making prayer blankets for the sick and cooking for the fair booth.
Grace is survived by her children, Francis Gaastra of Decatur, Alabama, Virgil H. Frank and his wife, Beatrice of Savannah, Tennessee, Virginia Hutcheson of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Mazie Deshazier and her husband, Jack, William Frank and his wife, Cathy, Geneva Mansell and her husband, Gary all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, David Gaastra, Alishia Stanfield, Grace Gant, Matthew Gaastra, Heather Ritcheart, Amanda Frank, Crystal Bennett, April Copeland, Nicholas Frank, Diane Burse, Samantha Hutcheson, Hunter Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Hannah Hutcheson, Jordan Deshazier, and Jason Deshazier; and a brother, Jimmy D.
