Gordon W. DeBerry

Mr. DeBerry passed away Saturday, June 12 at Gallatin Health Care Center in Gallatin, Tennessee.



The husband of Katherine Harville DeBerry, who survives, he was a small business owner, operating Bolivar Sheet Metal for 30 years, a Carrier Heat and A/C franchise. He was born Feb. 9, 1920 in Chester County, son of the late Theodore A. DeBerry, Sr. and Lavinia Thomas DeBerry and was a lifelong resident of Hardeman County. He was a WW II Army Air Corp veteran and an avid bass fisher and hunter. Mr. DeBerry was a Baptist in faith.



In addition to his wife, whom he married on July 18, 1946, survivors include a daughter and her husband, Manon and Steve Stephenson of Nashville; a son and his wife, William R. and Paula DeBerry of Gallatin; two brothers, David DeBerry of Hernando, Miss. and Russell DeBerry of Hornsby; five grandchildren, Joseph and Paul Anderson, Rob DeBerry, Ryan Clianard and Jenna Story; and one great grandson, Will DeBerry.
