Glenn Wiggins of Bolivar died at the age of 54 years, 10 months and 16 days Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Bolivar, he was born March 21, 1958 to Mary Helen Wiggins, who survives, and the late Lee Edwin Wiggins, who preceded him in death October 31, 2011. On June 11, 1982, he was united in marriage to Sheila Cherry Wiggins, who also survives. A 1976 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, he worked at Bolivar Energy Authority for 37 years and was a member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church. He loved to cook, spend time with friends & family, and hunt & fish, as he was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed officiating football games.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughters, Gina Wiggins Ragan and husband Adam of Paris and Monica Lee Wiggins of Knoxville; mother, Mary Helen Wiggins of Bolivar; brother, Lynn Wiggins of Bolivar; and several nieces and nephews.
