Glenn Warrington



was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 31, 1913 the son of the late John Washington and Nannie Lee Waters Warrington.



On June 26, 1936 he was united in marriage to Fay Etta Wilkerson, who preceded him in death on October 21, 2004.



Mr. Warrington drove a fuel truck for Hardin Farmers CO-OP for over 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and mowing the grass. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Warrington had also lived in Wayne County, and was a member of the Savannah church of Christ.



Mr. Warrington departed this life on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the age of 95 years, 1 month, 3 days.



Mr. Warrington is survived by 2 daughters: Sue Warrington of Nashville, Tennessee; Glenda Warrington Kesler and husband Mike of Columbia, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren: Sharon Kay Reed Waldron, Deborah Kay Kesler Hofbauer, Lisa Kay Vickery Beckham, Susan Fay Vickery Franks, and Janet Carol Kesler Thomas; 12 great-grandchildren: Jessica Fay Beckham, Charles Caleb Waldron, Blake William Franks, Thomas Cole Waldron, Sarah Nicole Franks, Robert Charles Thomas, Cally Layne Waldron, Brent Michael Hofbauer, Michael Warren Thomas, Zachary Ray Hofbauer, Rachel Clare Thomas, Elizabeth Grace Thomas; a niece: Virginia Tenney of Clarksville, Tennessee; 2 nephews: James Ronald Warrington of Winneconne, Wisconsin and Gary Lynn Warrington of Lutts, Tennessee.



In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Warrington was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Linda Kay Warrington Reed and Mary Janelle Warrington Vickery; a brother: Ernest Warrington; 2 sisters: Margarette Warrington and Sallie Kate Warrington White.
