Glenn Turnbow was born on November 5, 1931 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Nathan and Mary Godwin Turnbow.
Mr. Turnbow was the owner of "Turnbow's Garage" from 1964 until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and also a member of Flying Association. Mr. Turnbow loved spending time with his family and friends and also enjoyed flying airplanes. He flew for over 35 years. He enjoyed cooking and the outdoors, especially camping, hunting and fishing. Mr. Turnbow was born and raised in Tennessee and had lived in Arizona since 1961, but during his life he had also lived in Chicago, Illinois, northern California and Indiana.
He departed this life on June 26, 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 21 days.
Mr. Turnbow is survived by 2 sons: Michael Turnbow and his wife, Kathy of Glendale, Arizona and Joe Turnbow and his wife, Kim of Long Beach, California; one grandchild, Kendall Turnbow;
and 4 brothers: Max Turnbow and V.J. Turnbow, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana;
Brownie Turnbow of Churubusco, Indiana;
and Cletus Turnbow of Euless, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Dwayne Turnbow and 2 sisters: Loveda Cook and Dee Jones.
