Glenn Robinson

Glenn Robinson was born September 4, 1935 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Vester and Thelma Robinson.

He was united in marriage to Janeen Grace Evertson on April 20, 1984. Mrs. Robinson preceded him in death on October 11, 2019.

Mr. Robinson graduated from Manual High School in Peoria, IL. He lived in Princeville and Groveland, IL. When he retired from Caterpillar, he along with his wife Janeen moved to Tennessee in 2001. Together, they built houses in Illinois and Tennessee along with many other unique projects together. Recently they built a tree house, which had all the amenities of a hotel suite. They loved the outdoors, horses, traveling and trail rides. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Selmer.

Mr. Robinson departed this life on September 13, 2022 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 9 Days. He is survived by two sons, Ronald Robinson, Michael Robinson; two daughters, Janet Jeffers and husband Chris and Tracy Robinson; step-daughter, Dana Showalter; a brother, Gerald Robinson and wife Shirley; seven grandchildren, Josh, Jennifer, Brent, Brittney, Kayla, Ashley, and Bailey; 7 Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Marchulones; a brother, James Robinson.
