Glenda Kay Skelton Williams of Summertown, TN was born June 11, 1956 in Riverview, MI, the daughter of Senia Flippo Skelton of Hohenwald, TN, who survives, and the late Charles Hendrix Skelton. She was united in marriage to Stephen Williams on March 16, 1974.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of Zion Baptist Church in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Mrs. Williams departed this life on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 56 Years, 6 Months, 3 Days.
Other than her mother, she is survived by her husband, Stephen Williams of Summertown, TN; sons, David Scott Williams and wife, Rebekah of Loretto, TN, James A. (Jim) Williams and wife, Carolyn of Hohenwald, TN; a daughter, Tiffany Ann Grace and husband, Kevin of Henryville, TN; grandchildren, Jasmine, Madison, Hateya, Galen, Kandace, Landon, and Isaac; brothers, Larry H. Skelton and wife, Sandy of Hohenwald, TN, Douglas D. Skelton and wife, Lisa of Iron City, TN, Randy L. Skelton and wife, Ingrid of Summertown, TN; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Allen Skelton.
Services will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones and Larry Janes officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Jessie, Brandon, Dustin, Nick and Kevin Skelton and Kevin Grace.
