Glenda M Staggs

Glenda Mae Staggs of Lawrenceburg, TN was born February 4, 1959 in Lawrenceburg, TN, the daughter of Claudie M. Bryson Drake of Leoma, TN, who survives and the late Glen T. Smith. She was united in marriage to Terry Staggs on April 14, 1979.

Mrs. Staggs was a retired LPN and had been a factory worker at Murray Ohio Manufacturing prior to going into healthcare. She was of the Christian faith and departed this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 9 Months, 4 Days. Glenda had a smile that would bring light to any person she encountered.

Other than her mother, Mrs. Staggs is survived by her husband, Terry Staggs of Lawrenceburg, TN; son, Colby L. Staggs and daughter, Chelsea T. Staggs both of Waynesboro, TN; a brother, James P. Smith of Leoma, TN; a sister, Gail Prentice and husband, Danny of Lawrenceburg, TN.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Staggs was preceded in death by a sister, Claudette Holden.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Dusty Malugen officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Methodist Church Cemetery at Lawrenceburg (Wayne Co), Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2022 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 8 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ron Staggs, Jamie Vines, Brannon Olive, Chris Olive, Shane Olive and Johnny Staggs.
