Glenda Pierce

Glenda Faye Pierce was born on November 22, 1944, the daughter of the late Bonnie Sherrill and Roy Sherrill. On December 7, 1961 she was united in marriage to Larry Kenneth Pierce, who survives. 

Glenda was a member of Green River Baptist Church. She was retired from the former Save A Lot, where she loved serving and interacting with her customers. In addition to spending time with her family, Glenda loved to vacation at the beach, crochet, and spoil her beloved feline companions. In her most recent years, she was a resident of Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center where she loved to sport her orange UT apparel and colorful manicures. 

Glenda departed this life on March 30, 2023, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 8 days.

She is survived by her children, Rick Pierce (Leigh Ann) and Barry Pierce (Serena); grandchildren, Lukas Pierce and Carter Pierce; twin sister, Linda Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
