Glenda Jane Rainey Hickman

Glenda Jane Rainey Hickman was born on January 24, 1945 in Clifton, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Leonard Lee Rainey and Looney Maude Staggs Malone.

On September 24, 1976, she was united in marriage to Larry Joe Hickman, who preceded his wife in death on June 18, 1996.

Glenda worked at Walmart in Savannah for many years in the bakery department and as a door greeter. After retirement, she enjoyed being a member of the "Pink Ladies" at Hardin Medical Center. Glenda was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. She visited Graceland in Memphis many times throughout her life and loved to add to her collection of Elvis memorabilia. She also enjoyed watching her soap operas on tv and relaxing in her recliner. The most important thing in Glenda's life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than her family being together, and she prayed for each and every one of them multiple times a day. Glenda was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She loved the Lord and was proud to tell others she was a Christian.

Glenda Jane Rainey Hickman departed this life on December 10, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 16 days.

She is survived by her daughters, Lyndie White (Stanley) and Kimberly Hickman (Erik Bryars); grandchildren, Tyler Cummings (Callianne), Lari Grace Garrison (Montana), Abby Spruill (Chris), Kailei Navarro, Jackson Price, Wesley White, and Sydney Clapp; and great grandchildren, Isley Aleesia Garrison, Zander Orion Garrison, and Eden Hope Cummings.
