Glenda Jane McClure Churchwell was born on April 30, 1939 in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Jeff and Nellie McClure. On July 15, 1960, she was united in marriage to Willis Gene Churchwell, who survives.
Mrs. Churchwell was retired from Gordon's Transport where she worked in the Claims Department. She was a member of the Adamsville Church of Christ.
Glenda Churchwell departed this life on March 24, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 10 months, 24 days.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gene Churchwell of Adamsville, Tennessee; son, Dean Churchwell, and his wife Lori, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Leon McClure, and his wife Pat, of Paragould, Arkansas; 3 sisters, Anita Allen, and her husband James, of Columbia, Tennessee, Lavonne Berry, and her husband Jerry, of Conway, Arkansas, and Phyllis Ford, and her husband Jim, of Paragould, Arkansas; and 2 grandchildren.
No service will be held.
