Henderson, TN: Glen Franklin Jones, Sr. age 63, passed away October 31, 2010 at his home.
He was born and reared in Chester County, the Montezuma Community, the son of the late John Andrew and Fannie Whitman Jones. He attended Chester County schools. He had done mechanic work all his life and also did plumbing and carpenter work. He worked for a while at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville. He was married to Redda Abston in 1969 and they made their home in Ohio and Nashville but most of their married life around Henderson. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Redda Catherine Abston Jones; two sons, John Albert Jones and wife Victoria and Glen Franklin Jones, Jr. and wife Gator all of Henderson; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a brother, Jessie Jones of Toledo, OH and a sister, Mary Nell McIntyre of Finger.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Jones, Raymond Jones and Robert Jones and five sisters, Francis Ervin, Lorraine Garner, Kathryn Ziegler, Irene Hatch and Lena Sain.
