Gladys Lambert Wilson, 91, of Silerton, died Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Collierville Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
The widow of Ossie B. Wilson, who died in 1985, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson was born July 2, 1915 in Alcorn County, Mississippi. She lived most of her life around Silerton and was a member of the Silerton Methodist Church. Her last 10 years were spent in Collierville.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Sherry and Debra Wilson of Southaven and Sherman and Linda Wilson of Corinth, Mississippi; two daughters, Sylvia Fish and her husband, Leon, of Hickory Valley and Shirley Stack and her husband, James, of Bolivar; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Debbie and Gary Leathers, Dell and Joye Burkeen, Dexter and Dorothy Burkeen, Curtis and Susan Stack, Diane Moon, Daniel and Marcia Burkeen, Robbie and Jeff Understell, Mark and Nan Wilson, Cindy Burlison, Lisa and Brad Cardiere; twenty one great grandchildren and fifteen great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelly Burkeen and three brothers, Guy, Clay and Ted Lambert.
