Gladys L. Sparks
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 11, 1956 the daughter of the late John Clarence and Lizzie Bumpus Sparks.
Ms. Sparks worked as a deputy with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department and was a member of the Love Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.
She departed this life on February 2, 2007 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 50 years, 11 months and 22 days.
Ms. Sparks is survived by two sisters: Mollie Nichols and Annie Bailey, both of Savannah, Tennessee and three brothers: C.B. Sparks and his wife, Alice, William Sparks and his wife, Shirley, and Forace Sparks, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Shane Marcell Casey;
a sister, Dona Sparks Casey; three brothers: John Clarence Sparks, Jr., Tommy Sparks, and Sammy Sparks; and a sister-in-law, Judy Sparks.
