Gladys Randolph

Gladys Phelps Randolph was born June 22, 1917 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Jasper "Jake" and Lela Morgan Phelps. She was united in marriage to Henry Randolph on December 8, 1934. Mr. Randolph preceded her in death on January 11, 1998. She was a member of Acton Church of Christ and the Senior Citizens in Michie. Gladys enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, quilting and going to church. She loved her family and always wanted to be near them. Mrs. Randolph departed this life on September 11, 2016 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 99 Years, 2 Months, 20 Days.

She is survived by four daughters: Margaret Kitchen and husband Charles of Saltillo, MS, Barbara Adams of Olive Branch, MS, Peggy Parker and husband Wayne of Selmer, TN, Linda Coleman and husband Charles of Selmer, TN; 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Randolph was preceded in death by two sons; four brothers; and a great great granddaughter.
