Gladys Parnell

Gladys Parnellwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 2, 1917 the daughter of the late Charlie R. and Dorothy Ann Bullard Thomas.Ms. Parnell had lived in the Counce, Tennessee area all of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee and the Home Demonstration Club. Ms. Parnell enjoyed decorating and babysitting. She was active in church activities and volunteered in the church nursery.Ms. Parnell departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the age of 92 years, 11 days.Ms. Parnell is survived by a daughter, Jerrie Parnell Prentis and her husband Joe of Counce, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Stephanie Prentis; several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted S. Parnell on November 13, 1981; 2 brothers, Elbert Thomas and Lee Thomas; a nephew, Greg Thomas.
