Gladys Elizabeth King

Gladys Elizabeth Moore King was born September 24, 1919 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Homer and Zola Smith Moore.She was united in marriage to Joe Henry King who preceded her in death on December 29, 1997.Mrs. King was a homemaker and a member of the Gooch Church of Christ.She departed this life on January 11, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 3 Months, 18 Days.Mrs. King is survived by three daughters, Dottie Jackson of Guys, Tennessee, Nancy Lowry of Flippin, Arkansas, Elizabeth Qualls of Selmer, Tennessee; fours sons, Curtis King of Selmer, Bobby King of Paris, Tennessee, Larry King of Ashland, Mississippi, Ronnie King of Hornsby, Tennessee; two brothers, Paul Moore of Hornsby, Maynard Moore of Selmer; 21 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. King was preceded in death by a son, Austin King, a sister, Edie Tackett and a brother, Herbert Moore.
