Gladys Holmes

She was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Jim and Viola Thomas Roland. She was married to Arnold W. Hurst in 1936. Mr. Hurst died in 1943. She was later married to Charles Elvie Holmes and they made their home in Chester County. Mr. Holmes died in September 2000.



She is survived by three sons Travis Hurst of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Harold Hurst of Henderson and Leon Holmes of Medon and a daughter Shirley Burkeens of Jackson; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a sister Idell Rowland of Crump, TN.
