GLADYS (SIS) GRISSOwas born in Tuckerman, Arkansas on November 27, 1910 the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Myrtle Lou Barrett Ross.In 1931 she was united in marriage to Zackie Pleas (Bill) Grisso, who preceded his wife in death on June 12, 1985.Mrs. Grisso was a homemaker. She was a former resident of Selmer, Tennessee, Tallahassee, Florida and Lake Worth, Florida. She once owned Carraway Cafe, then worked in fruit processing plants and sold Sarah Coventry Jewelry. Mrs. Grisso loved to crochet and needlepoint.She departed this life on February 18, 2008 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 97 years, 2 months and 22 days.Mrs. Grisso is survived by one daughter, Faye Endicott of Monticello, Florida and one son, Sam Grisso of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildone sister, Myrtie Lou Bingham of Memphis, Tennessee and 2 brothers, Bobby Joe Ross of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Paul Ross of Stantonville, Tennessee.Mrs. Grisso was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Lou Smith, one grandchild, William Eugene Smith, one sister, Bonnie Mae Bell Ross and 5 brothers, Jim, T. J., Harle, Eugene and Hubart Ross.
